Haugen x Aperol

This summer Haugen is partnering with Aperol to transform its alpine rooftop into a floral-inspired Italian retreat. Housed in a striking wooden chalet-style structure, Haugen has partnered exclusively with the hugely popular Italian bitter apéritif to takeover the iconic rooftop and create a brand new, tantalising cocktail menu, creating the ideal spot for guests to enjoy a tipple or two this summer.

Haugen’s terrace will be hard to miss as it’s dressed in Aperol’s renowned orange, with a sea of citrus-coloured bean bags for lounging against the backdrop of luscious Italian flowers. Capture the moment with the Aperol swing chair as you sip on a classic cocktail in the London sunshine.

Toast the good times in the London sun with a delicious and refreshing cocktail menu from Aperol. Embrace the unique tastes and experiences of the Italian mountains with a selection of classic bittersweet Aperol cocktails, through to limited-edition inspired creations.

Highlights include:

  • Aperol Spritz – a blend of Aperol, Prosecco and Soda
  • Camparii Spritz – a delicious mix of Campari, Prosecco, Soda Water
  • Ginger Lady Spritz – a sophisticated combination of Aperol, Ginger & Lemongrass Cordial, Aloe Vera Juice and Prosecco
  • Pinaperol Colado – a sweet treat made up of Aperol, Koko Kanu, Coco Lopez, Pineapple Juice, Wray & Nephew, and Crushed Ice.

Against the backdrop of Haugen’s rooftop DJ sessions every night from Thursday to Saturday till 11pm, guests can accompany their cocktails with mouthwatering dishes from the new Haugen BBQ menu, which include delights such as the Haugen Hotdog (vegan option available) with German mustard and pickled cucumber in a classic pretzel bun; Marinated Chicken Thighs with pickled slaw in a baguette; and Grilled Minute Steak in Baguette with a selection of sauces including curry mayo, ranch dressing, garlic mayo, tartare sauce, chilli mayo and Mary Rose sauce.

Book a table in Haugen’s restaurant and enjoy Alpine-inspired staples on the menu such as the Mountain Charcuterie starter, which comes with Tirolean smoked Speck, Coppa ham cornichons and pickled pearl onions, as well as classics such as Chicken Schnitzel and our personal favourite – the Curry Wurst, a delicious pork sausage loaded with curried tomato sauce, French fries and house sauce.

Soak in the sun with a cocktail in hand this summer in East London’s most popular new rooftop terrace and get the party started with the rhythmic house beats from Friday-Sunday. With views sprawling across East London all the way into the city, the scenery and vibes are spectacular in this hotspot.
