Oi Mamma opens in Bearsden, Glasgow

Oi Mamma, Glasgow’s trendy new Italian restaurant, has opened in the city’s Bearsden neighbourhood. The flamboyant design of the new restaurant is infused with friendly Italian hospitality while honouring the strong, extroverted and passionate nature of the much-loved Italians.

In Glasgow’s most sought-after area, the Instagram-friendly eatery offers affordable dining while reinventing Italian cuisine. Offering a vibrant space designed to impress customers, Oi Mamma’s aim is to create stylish Italian hospitality and connect with a younger neighbourhood customer.

The design is elegant and vibrant, creating a celebratory space that reflects the fun cuisine, signature cocktails, and lively atmosphere of Oi Mamma. Serving up an impeccable shade – shaken, not stirred, Olive green with soft nudes and warm coral colours run throughout the restaurant space. The 80-seat restaurant is spread over two floors and offers a sophisticated and tranquil sensibility mixed with “Insta-worthy” designs and stylish accoutrements, a modern bar and dining booths with custom neon signage.

Mixing classic Italian recipes with a modern Mediterranean twist, the menu takes centre stage at Oi Mamma offering playful, generous and authentic food.

Dishes include Nduja Hummus, Sourdough flatbread; Whole Lemon Sole on the bone served with Brown Butter, Shrimps, Samphire, Amalfi lemon and Tagliolini with Pecorino Basil & Creamy Burrata.

Every day, Oi Mamma’s kitchen makes fresh pasta, and a variety of pizzas will also be available, all made with dough that has been proofed for 72 hours to maximise flavour and ensure a light and distinct crust.

There is also a ‘Mamma Specials Board’ offering large plate sharing dishes including Lobster Spaghetti and Tomahawk steak.
