Sometimes all you need to do to keep the kids entertained when having dinner is take them to somewhere that looks cool. And Buddha Stix definitely ticks that box. It’s bright, it’s colourful and there are statues, lights, and gorgeous decorations everywhere. Their traditional Thai menu features classic dishes that the adults of the family will love, but also plenty of milder stuff for delicate palates. Try out the Vietnamese Laksa, the Massaman curry, or the pad thai; all surefire crowd pleasers.
Situated in Te Aro, this gorgeous restaurant has been on the scene for over 100 years.
