Where to go for pizza in Dublin

The Italian influence on Irish cuisine has always been strong, from chippers to pasta bars, you can’t avoid the mark of Italian food left on Irish shores. However, today we want to focus on one of the most beloved and celebrated Italian dishes: Pizza. This is Dish Cult’s ultimate guide to Dublin’s top pizzerias!

If you’re looking for epic pizza in the stunning Dublin suburb of Ranelagh, we highly recommend heading to Ritas. An idea born in West Cork, Ritas is owned by two lads who learned the art of crafting the perfect pizza in some of the most authentic pizzerias in Naples, Italy. With the idea of combining the very best, fresh Irish produce with the skills and recipes they learned in Naples, the lads arrived home with a plan in mind. The pizzas here take just 90 seconds to cook (yes, really), thanks to the long and laborious process beforehand, with the recipe taking years to perfect, hours to prepare, and days to rise. With a mantra like “no fuss, just pizza”, this spot aims to offer fast food, done slow and done right. When it comes to options, you’ll be spoilt for choice with everything from the classic Rita, featuring San Marzano DOP tomato, buffalo mozzarella, fresh basil and olive oil, to the Hunted Hog with mozzarella, Toons Bridge West Cork ricotta, broccoletti, Italian sausage, nduja and basil, and the Vincent Van Goat with san marzano DOP tomato, Toons Bridge mozzarella, spicy nduja, honey, goats cheese, rocket and pine nuts.
