Irish Restaurant Awards in Dublin

Dublin’s best restaurant and other awards were given out at the Irish Restaurant Awards recently, and there were several Dish Cult venues which won. Here’s a run through all of them.

The Irish Restaurant Awards took place recently, recognising the people and businesses providing the best food and drink experiences in the country.

With a prize dedicated to Dublin’s restaurant scene in each category, we found out where the best chefs and dining experiences in Dublin are – and several of them are places you can book with Dish Cult.

Best Sustainable Practices in Dublin went to Airfield Estate in Dundrum, a working urban farm which has sustainability at the fore of everything it offers to visitors, including the delicious food at its farm-to-fork restaurant Overends Kitchen.

Meanwhile, Best Restaurant Manager in Dublin went to Conor Sexton of Nightmarket in Ranelagh – a popular Thai restaurant and cocktail bar.

Best World Cuisine in Dublin went to BIGFAN on Aungier Street, a Michelin-recommended restaurant serving up bao buns and dumplings.

Best Casual Dining in Dublin went to Nannetti’s on Dawson Street, a restaurant which serves tasty modern Italian cuisine.

And finally Dublin’s Best Chef was named as Graham Neville of Dax Restaurant on Pembroke Street, a fine dining restaurant offering modern Irish-French cuisine for lunch and dinner
