Manifest in the Baltic Quarter is in the running for “Best Culinary Experience”, and is up against the likes of Peter Street Kitchen (Manchester), Le Gavroche (London) and The Ivy Asia, Guildford (Surrey).
Liverpool Confidential editor, Vicky Andrews, scored Manifest 17 out of 20 in her review in May of this year. The restaurant has gone on to be named as one of the Michelin Guide favourites.
The team at Manifest takes great pride in sourcing high quality seasonal goods, supporting local producers and putting their passion onto plates and into glasses. They create regularly changing menus with wine in mind.
Excitingly, Manifest is also up for “Best Restaurant in Liverpool”, along with Maray, Panoramic 34, and Mamasan.
Maray is located at the top of Liverpool’s bustling and bohemian Bold Street, and offers Middle Eastern, North African and Mediterranean inspired small plates alongside utterly drinkable cocktails and fantastic wine.
Panoramic 34, meanwhile, is set 300 feet above sea level on the 34th floor of the West Tower, making this fine dining restaurant one of the UK’s highest.
Mamasan is a much loved restaurant inspired by the flavours of Southeast Asia, elevated with the best of British produce, from farm, field and sea.
And Lerpwl is a beautiful waterside restaurant located within the prestigious Royal Albert Dock, showcasing quality, seasonal produce.
Yet another Dish Cult venue that’s been nominated for an award is Elite 60. This Turkish bar and grill on Hope Street in Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter is nominated for the “Best New Restaurant” award.
Earlier in the year, readers of Chelsea Monthly magazine, The National Post, and members of the World Restaurant Awards Guide (WRAG) were given the opportunity to nominate their favourite restaurants per city, region, and throughout the UK.
The restaurants that receive the most number of nominations are shortlisted and released for the public to vote. The final list of winners as voted for by the public will be announced at The Sway in London on 12th September 2022.
