Sitting pretty on the Commercial Quay in the heart of Leith is Season Quayside – a renowned event space, used for luxury dream weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and everything in between.
The charming space offers a beautiful cosy glass conservatory, an outdoor terrace by the waterfront, and a magnificent indoor restaurant space, complete with head chef and owner, Aaron Hartman, dishing up fresh, local produce for all of your guests. Often booked out months in advance for all kinds of private events, now is your chance to experience the magic of Season Quayside without needing an invitation…
Introducing Flavours of the World, an ongoing pop-up dining experience every Thursday night at Season Quayside.

An exciting new concept, allowing guests to peek inside the remarkable event space, Flavours of the World takes you on a culinary journey, you guessed it, around the globe.
Often a highlight of their many five-star reviews, the food at Season is again and again praised by guests, so now Season is giving the public the chance to try it for their next Thursday date night, friend catch-up, or family dinner.
The concept involves a menu consisting of entirely small plates, designed to be ordered as you go, so you can finish when you’re content. Using local and seasonal produce from in and around Edinburgh, you’ll be spotting recognisable favourites such as Arbroath smokie, Scottish lamb, and Manuka honey.

Dishes include Turkish flatbreads with hummus and sun-dried tomatoes, crispy cauliflower laksa, vegan Mexican tacos, venison gyoza dumplings, and Malaysian crispy pork belly. The menu also offers a selection of sides to accompany the main small plates so you really do get to try an impressive variety of flavours.
Of course, the passionate team behind the impeccable menu has thought of everything and included plenty of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options so everyone can enjoy a taste of Season!

We have to stress, save room for dessert. With just as much care and love put into the dessert menu, it would be a mistake to pass up on something sweet to end the night.
Chocolate Pave with raspberry dust and crème fraîche, a mango lassi cocktail with a side of mango sorbet, Season’s signature salted caramel ice cream with a chocolate crumb, or a lemon granita sorbet with cardamom poached pineapple for a palate cleanse. Come ready with a second stomach.

What’s a stellar menu without a matching drinks list? Mel, Season’s award-winning mixologist, has her finger on the pulse with an extraordinary list of cocktails being wheeled out for the Thursday pop-ups.
From your bar classics, white rum daiquiri and espresso martini, to more niche picks such as their pornstar martini and French martini, we have no doubt you’ll spot your go-to tipple on the menu. Season is also offering its extensive full bar menu on Thursdays so you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to wine, beers, spirits, and dry drinks.

Though they’re known for being one of Edinburgh’s leading event spaces for even the most formal occasions, Thursdays at Season are all about refined relaxed fun. Take away any of the ‘stuffiness’ and enjoy a casual, but elegant evening at the prime location.
So, if you’ve always been secretly a little envious of snaps from inside Season Quayside, this is your chance to have your very own intimate dining experience in the magical waterfront setting.
The pop-up restaurant debuts on March 21st and reoccurs every Thursday night following, with a kick-off at 5pm, and last bookings at 8pm. You’ll find Season Quayside at 72 Commercial St, Leith, Edinburgh EH6 6LX, just make sure to secure your table here!
