If you were obsessed with last season of BBC show “Great British Menu” (and we totally feel you), you’ll be excited to know contestant chef Craig Sherrington, owns his restaurant. And guess what’s a la carte? The exact same dishes he has been cooking on the show! Yes, we’re as excited as you are.

Like Craig explained on the show, this menu “reflects his thoughts of taking an unconventional look at the way NHS works, the way the people who make a difference work together”. So start your dinner with the amazing curry glazed chicken wings and spiced coconut risotto. Move on to the fish dish composed of seared mackerel, pickled cockles, and brown shrimps. Then savor the salt aged fillet of Penny Bridge Dexter Beef and caramelised cauliflower puree. And finish your feast with the exquisite Christmas pudding ice cream and flambeed caramel. Yum!

Craig Sherrington and his wife opened Craig’s kitchen in 2015, and after only 18 months, the restaurant was named one of the top eateries in the area twice. Truly passionate about food, chef Craig has the ability to elevate the simplest and freshest ingredients into a culinary masterpiece.

The venue is located inside the Virginia House Hotel in the small village of Ulverston.
Don’t be fooled by appearances; from the outside, this venue might look like any Georgian townhouse, but inside is a place where magic happens.

Reserve your spot now before all the groupies (like us) book all the tables.

The Craig’s Kitchen experience is definitely worth the ride, and you might want to go back very soon.
