Christmas in Cornwall just got even more exciting

Hotel Meudon in Falmouth, Cornwall has launched an exciting new two and three-course festive menu, as well as announcing an unmissable New Year’s Eve party.

The festive menu, to be joined pre-Christmas, boasts some very tantalising dishes. Highlights include celeriac velouté, truffle and candied walnuts or pressed chicken, chorizo and mushroom terrine, cranberry preserve, chestnut mayo for starters.

For mains, there’s roast pumpkin gnocchi, brown butter, capers, sherry vinegar, toasted almond and Pecorino or Terras duck, braised red cabbage, Morteau sausage, carrots crécy, pomme fondant, truffle gravy.

Save room for pudding because you’ve got the choice of plum pudding with Armagnac cream or Dulce du leche Crème brûlée, cherry compote.

Two courses is £23 per person, while three Courses is £28 per person.

Stuck on ideas for New Year’s Eve? Celebrate with Hotel Meudon and party with live sizzling jazz band, ‘Paper Moon’. A sumptuous six-course meal, with evening entertainment, costs £110 per person. Alternatively, the rates are from £395 for a one-night, dinner inclusive stay, for two people on New Year’s Eve, or £595 for a two-night, dinner inclusive stay, for two people.

Extra bed and breakfast nights can be added to these packages from £119, or on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis from £200.
