Californian inspired dining comes to London with Feels Like June

Located in pioneering lifestyle hotel, TRIBE London Canary Wharf, featuring interiors by Ennismore’s design team – the visionary behind The Hoxton locations – Feels Like June is the hottest new destination restaurant and bar in London. Featuring a bright airy space, with a striking oval shaped bar, a central open kitchen, lush planting and an understated colour palette that perfectly reflects the natural beauty and warmth of the Golden state.

With a farm-to-table ethos, the 200-cover American West Coast-inspired eatery uses organic ingredients supplied by local farm partners to create its delicious, recognisable versions of Californian classics. From breakfast burritos to superfood salads, deep-filled tacos and creative cocktails, Feels Like June has something for every diner to enjoy from dawn until dusk.

Feels Like June’s all-day menu is served from 12pm to 10pm, making it perfect for laidback lunches, early evening snacks or late-night dining. The Californian-inspired menu has been expertly crafted by Executive Head Chef Ticiana Pap, which includes plenty of options to suit every diner’s appetite. If you’re looking for small plates to share, then we highly recommend the Grilled Halloumi with spiced tomato chilli jam for that perfect balance between spiciness and saltiness. Another must are the Tuna Croquettes, which come with a great citrus mayo and dill. These bites ooze super Cali vibes and almost too good for sharing! The Smoked Aubergine Purée with marinated tomatoes, basil and sourdough bread toasts is a great vegan option for those following a plant-based diet.

If you’re looking for something more substantial then the restaurant boasts larger plates and tacos. Highlights include Sauteed Salmon Fillet with charred asparagus and tarragon aioli; Chicken Milanese with truffle oil, parmesan and mixed leaves; and the popular FLJ Burger with cheddar cheese, caramelised onion, pickles and homemade burger sauce (a vegan version is also available).

Meat lovers, you’ll be in heaven with the meat platter, which comes with mouthwatering Beef Picanha, Striploin and Chicken Wings.

The centre-stage, statement bar is headed up by talented Bar Manager, Osvaldo Romito who has created a menu specialising in bringing the sunny flavours of California to London, with a creative range of cocktail options to choose from. Perfect for a quick drink with friends or family, or the place to be seen for after work drinks, Feels Like June mixes and muddles innovative concoctions to suit any occasion.

Welcoming guests to pull up a pew at the bar or recline on a sofa in the lounge, expect to find your tipple of choice. For the sweet-toothed try the 1967 with Ketel One, rhubarb liqueur, lemon, cranberry and candy floss; for the Instagrammable order the Red Scarlet with Remy Martin VSOP, Laphroig 10y, Heering liqueur, lemon, cherry, ginger and Peychaud’s bitter; and for those who like a punch with their cocktails try the
Baracoa with Bacardi Carta Negra, Montenegro Amaro, Angostura bitter and chocolate bitter.

Our favourite, however, is the classic martini which has been elevated here to a whole new level. The Truffle Martini comes with Ketel One, Martini Ambrato and truffle.

For £49 per person, couples and friends alike can indulge in a delightful sharing platter for two full of romantic flavours and notes throughout, alongside a refreshing sharing cocktail for just £25.

Feels Like June is located on Water Street, within TRIBE Hotel – a short walk from Canary Wharf station. The restaurant accommodates over 200 covers and takes bookings for parties of all sizes. Walk-in drinkers and diners are also welcome.
