The most fun restaurant, bars and clubs in Bristol
Looking for something fun and different in Bristol? The city isn’t short of options when it comes to entertaining restaurants, bars and clubs. Here we have rounded up a cracking selection of venues in Bristol that we guarantee you’ll have fun in.
With retro arcade games lining the walls from Pac-man to Donkey Kong, and epic DJ nights on weekends, Kongs of King Street is a quirky venue that’s great for students. With a selection of craft beers and football tables, as well as tres decent food served up by another of our favourites, HOBA Kebabs this is a super fun date night or party venue!
An epic drinks venue with over 150 rums spread over three floors, as well as a rum school teaching you how to make your own spiced rum, the Bristol & Bath Rum Distillery is a fantastic place. With rooms available for private hire, this is a super fun venue for parties, private functions or something different for date night – ideal for a keen drinker. If you get peckish, the kitchen is run via a residency programme, so there is often something new and exciting being served.
Smoke & Mirrors is an award-winning venue that regularly hosts stand up comedy, magic shows, live music, burlesque, and drinks! The 1920s themed secret stage is a fab and quirky way to spend an evening in Bristol. Alongside the entertainment, Smoke & Mirrors also serves up ales, cider and unmissable stone baked pizzas.
We LOVE it here! Sky Kong Kong is a super fun venue where there is no menu, Bring Your Own Booze, organic gourmet dishes and wall upon wall of fermenting food. The seating style is uber social, with long bench-like tables – perfect if you have a group looking for Korean fusion food. Find yourself all seated along one long table, with plates designed for sharing within your group, and you’re in for a very fun time.
We love an outdoor venue and The Apple Cider Boat is a great one! Enjoy a pint of cider in the sun aboard the boat, moored in the heart of Bristol. There are no reservations, so it is sure to be busy, but fear not for there are two floors on this epic floating vessel, so get yourself and your pals on a bench for a super fun daytime drink.
We love an independent venue and this cocktail bar down by the water is a fab one. Showcasing local artists, hosting a range of events with live DJs and more, Loose Cannon is always a fun start to the night. Ideal for groups of friends or a fun date night, Loose Cannon’s drink menu offers a range of classics, as well as exciting new options created by the team.
A classic venue well known in London, but can also be found here in Bristol on the triangle. London Cocktail Club is renowned for being a super fun night out with cracking staff and fab experimental drinks. We highly recommend it with a group of pals!
