Finding yourself in the West Country, but wanting to spend an evening immersed somewhere different, somewhere more exotic? Why not reserve a table at one of our favourite international food spots in Bristol then? Whether you’re treating the family to lunch or you’re on a romantic date night, we have something for you right here in this guide.

COSMO’s “World Kitchen” is a popular Bristol venue that’s ideal for families and big foodies alike. Transport yourself out of the city to a land of 150 different dishes. With an open kitchen to watch food being prepared, this is a great spot to keep kids entertained, and satisfy hungry adults! Offering fresh seafood, steak and even a chocolate fountain all at a set price, this is a great spot if you are working to a budget and dining with any picky eaters. The style here is an all you can eat buffet, meaning you can try all the different cuisines if you wish without breaking the bank!

Muse Brasserie is a super gorgeous, Instagrammable venue, promising the highest standards and serving a French fusion menu. Combining both French and Asian flavours, this is definitely a great spot to try some new and exciting dishes. With tempting vegan options too, this is ideal if you’re wanting to book somewhere with a group of gal pals or treat your parents to dinner. With a seasonal menu, things are always kept fresh and unexpected at Muse Brasserie. An idea of what you might find includes Fish du Jour, Truffle and mushroom risotto, and Mumbai Street Vada Pav with chutney.
The Saigon Kitchen offers simply stunning home-cooked Vietnamese food. The flavours are killer, and the team is fantastic. Taking pride in his Vietnamese roots, chef Trung brings the flavours of his childhood in Vietnam all the way over to Bristol. We love it here, especially the Pho! A super popular venue, with both indoor and outdoor seating, it’s great for summer months outside.
New Moon Tapas is a gorgeous, intimate venue in the heart of Clifton Village. Perfect for a date night or dinner with a small group, this place serves typical Spanish tapas, cocktails and a great selection of wine. Using as much local, seasonal produce as possible, New Moon Tapas is a pillar in Clifton Village. Ever popular, we highly recommend booking in advance. There’s also a second sister venue right by the water at Bristol’s Quayside.
Rock Salt serves some of the best Indian and Chinese food in Bristol, paired with a cracking selection of cocktails. The team’s friendly and super attentive here, serving an extensive menu from delicious Dim Sum to Salt and Pepper Prawns. People rave about the incredible flavours and team here, so we highly recommend booking in advance if you’re looking for Indian or Chinese food! There are good options for vegans and veggies too, but we recommend Rock Salt more for those who love their meat.
A delicious, popular Thai venue, focusing on seafood, Giggling Squid offers light and bright interiors, and is only a short walk to Clifton Suspension Bridge. This is an ideal spot for early dinner followed by an evening stroll to the bridge for stunning sunset views. Again, we highly recommend booking to avoid disappointment as people really do love Giggling Squid’s food. With a menu that featured the likes of Phuket Mussels, Som Tam Papaya Salad and Turmeric Sea Bass Parcel to name a few, our mouths are just watering at the idea of dinner here!
