Firstly, the meat served here is sourced only from Irish farms, aged in-house and then prepared next door in the Stix & Stones Butchery & Deli by the Master Butchers. These guys are serious about meat. They get up early to ensure the meats are braised and slow cooked for at least 24 hours to ensure you can enjoy a tender and mouthwatering dining experience.

This is a very positive start.

There are two very important things that must be pointed out about the smokehouse platters at Meat Wagon. Firstly, the portions are generous so make sure you arrive hungry! Secondly, they’re excellent value for money.

When it comes to smokehouse platters for two people, you get more options. If you’re into ribs then get the Full Rack of Ribs platter for £22.95. If you’re ravenous, then consider the platter that comes with the Full Rack of Ribs, as well as 6oz House Smoked Brisket and six wings for £31.95.

If you’re here for the chicken, then look no further than the platter that comes with two BBQ Chicken Thighs, two Drumsticks and six Wings for £31.95, or if you prefer to mix it up then we recommend the platter serving a Half Rack of Baby Back Ribs, two Chicken Thighs and three Wings for the tidy price of £27.95.
