A spotlight on Dublin's September
September, in Dublin’s Blackrock, is drawing in customers with its simple yet thoughtful approach to dining. Offering a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for people to enjoy good food and good company. Feel at ease as you walking through the doors; September has done a wonderful job at creating a hospitable oasis for guests from all walks of life.
The vibe at September is down-to-earth yet stylish, with a mix of contemporary decor and cosy touches like fresh flowers on the tables, rustic wooden furniture, and lit wax candles. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, with attention to detail that complements the overall peaceful ambiance. The inviting atmosphere, combined with the friendly service, makes it a popular choice for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy a meal in a comfortable setting.
September’s menu reflects their philosophy of honest and straightforward dishes that are carefully prepared using fresh ingredients. It demonstrates a balance of comforting meals and creative offerings that suit a range of tastes, so every guest feels catered for. Currently, their offerings include a mix of seasonal items, ensuring that every visit offers something new.
Our current and past favourites include their morning matcha bowl with a tropical base with fresh fruit & granola, the Irish ham hock arancini with smoked paprika aioli for dipping, a classic house ricotta tortellini with squash & sage butter, the N’duja gnocchi and stracciatella, and the Ajo blanco with line caught Irish mackerel, pickled fennel, basil, and chilli oil. You also simply can’t go wrong with a homemade tiramisu for dessert.
The wine list has been carefully curated, with a wide range of bottles from some of the finest wine regions in Europe. Simply ask for a recommendation while ordering, and the friendly team will happily oblige for you to get the best pairing possible.
September has worked hard to create a loyal following, with many diners returning time and time again to see what they’ll pull out next. The team is especially kind and helpful, wanting you to have the best experience possible. September is more than just a restaurant; it’s a space that fosters community and connection over great food. Whether you’re stopping in for a leisurely brunch or a quick coffee, you’re likely to leave with a smile and a desire to return.
