A Peculiar Tea, located in South Belfast, has been selected as one of the Michelin Inspectors’ ‘Favourite New Restaurants’.

Created by Chef Gemma Austin as an escape from reality and the stresses of adult life, this restaurant is a Dish Cult favourite.

Known to her friends as a female Peter Pan, Gemma Austin loves to use food to make her guests feel a sense of nostalgia and playfulness.

“Chef-owner Gemma Austin believes food should be fun and changes the theme of the evening tasting menu at this restaurant – tagline ‘The Emporium of Imagination’ – every eight-10 weeks: think Cluedo, Harry Potter or Alice in Wonderland,” said the Michelin Guide.

A huge congratulations to Gemma and her team for this very well-deserved recognition.
