Chef Gemma Austin’s A Peculiar Tea has gained quite the reputation as one of the most magical eateries in Belfast. Known for its ever-changing tasting menu based around a central and creative theme, this spot keeps guests coming back time and time again to discover what the team has come up with.
If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll be delighted to hear about the brand new menu launching on 10th January and running until 16th March. For £55 per person, you and the gang can indulge in a unique dining experience inspired by the iconic series.
The full four course menu will not be revealed to guests until they arrive at the restaurant. However, rest assured you’ll be greeted by a unique, creative and delicious array of dishes that will stimulate your senses. Plus, the carefully curated wine pairing adds to the magic brought through in the flavours of each course.

The food and drinks aren’t the only part of this dining experience to be inspired by the world of Harry Potter. Rather, the entire restaurant will be decorated to fit the theme adding to the overall atmosphere so you can feel fully immersed in the world created.
Alongside the main six course menu, the team will also offer tasty vegetarian and gluten-free options so those with specific dietary requirements don’t have to worry about missing out. If you’re following a fully plant-based lifestyle, a vegan menu will also be available from 13th to 16th March.
