A run down of Bristol’s pubs – what’s not to get excited about! Ranging from old school classic venues, to those with killer views, epic sunday roasts and live music, there’s something for everyone.

The award-winning, infamous ciderhouse in Bristol, with killer local cider and live music. A cracking place to start your night out or perhaps stay all evening. Situated right next to the Suspension Bridge, it is a brilliant spot and you can even buy cider to take home with you. One of the first buildings in Clifton, it has been up and running since the 1700s!

A proper ‘down-to-earth’ pub with outdoor seating and local art on the walls. Great for a summer evening pint outside with mates or a cosy chilled one inside. A good place to devour a Sunday roast and also live sport or in-person music.

Part of The Gorge Hotel, this fancy venue boasts insane views of the River Avon and Clifton Suspension Bridge. There is a no reservation policy here, so grab your gal pals and get down to The White Lion for an Aperol Spritz in the summer and bag yourself one of the many outdoor tables. Definitely arrive before sundown if you can, just to enjoy the incredible view during sunset. A firm favourite for both locals and tourists, the perfect pub to bring your parents too!

The Canteen
cuisinesBar, Vegan Friendly , Live Music

For all the creatives and musicians out in Bristol, The Canteen is the place to be. Situated under floors of art studios, you will always find a number of creatives bopping about the place. With friendly staff, good vegan options as well as cracking Sunday roasts, it’s a place for everyone. Known for a good night out too with free live music nights, we are a big fan!

This award-winning community pub focuses perfectly on good food. Independently owned – we love to see it – The Lazy Dog team brings its attention solely to good quality and local produce, and they absolutely smash it.
