Irish Irish Vegan Festival at the Europa Hotel
This April the famous Europa Hotel welcomes back the long-awaited Irish Vegan Festival after its two-year hiatus, last held in 2020. Following two years of lockdowns and restrictions, visitors can once again come together to browse and sample a huge selection of delicious world foods, drinks, quirky clothes, accessories, bags, cosmetics and more. 2022 also marks the eighth year of the festival and this year is set to make up for the lost time promising to be bigger and better than ever before.
On Sunday 10th April, visiting vegans can revel in a unique selection of stalls at the Europa, unseen anywhere else in the country.
Although on arrival guests can simply pay the small entrance fee of £3, those willing to pay a little extra can become recognised event VIPs. For only £15 interested attendees can become vegan VIPs, which will grant them early entry to the event as well as a goodie bag filled with exciting treats and gifts provided by the showcasing vendors themselves.
Even better, if you’re planning to attend with a minor, anyone aged 16 or under can enter the event for free making it the ideal family day out allowing everyone to find out a little more about the increasingly popular lifestyle.
As well as its stalls, the festival organisers and Europa have lined up a number of insightful speakers to keep visitors entertained throughout the day.
Whilst enjoying mouthwatering food, you can hear several distinguished vegan speakers covering everything from health and animal welfare to the environment. However, if live talks don’t interest you, throughout the day there are also live cooking demos and demonstrations to add to the buzz of the event. Not only do these demos serve to entertain but, they also educate watchers on how to create vegan food that is both delicious and achievable for any home cook.
Ideally held in the centrally located Europa Hotel (a proud supporter of the festival for a number of years) everyone, whether vegan, vegetarian or just simply intrigued, can stop by this April to sample the wonderful selection of Vegan delights and learn a little more about the increasingly popular lifestyle.
