OKLAVA is a contemporary Turkish restaurant jointly operated by Selin Kiazim and Laura Christie. In Turkish an ‘oklava’ is a traditional rolling pin which is used to make breads, pastries and pides all of which feature on their menu alongside Selin’s modern take on Turkish-Cypriot fare. Their open kitchen acts as a theatre stage where guests can sit around the bar and spectate as the chefs use a stone oven and real charcoal grill, known as a mangal in Turkish to prepare their meals.

  3. Competition closes  13:00 GMT 12/12/18. After this time/date no further entries to the competition will be permitted or qualify for entry.
  4. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received regardless of the reason.
  5. Winners will be chosen at ResDiary’s sole discretion.
  6. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  7. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions, without notice, in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Entrants to the competition will be notified by ResDiary of any changes as soon as possible.  Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the ResDiary.
  8. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  9. The prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  10. Winners will be chosen at random from all entries received and verified by ResDiary and/or its agents on 12/12/18 and announced by the 12/12/18.
  11. The winner will be notified via Facebook and asked to confirm via email within three days of the winner selection date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within three days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.
  12. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants, will be used solely in accordance with current UK legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  15. ResDiary’s decision in respect of all competition matters will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
