1051 GWR introduces outdoor dining domes

A longstanding Glasgow bar and restaurant with a loyal following has introduced a novel new option for diners with the introduction of its new outdoor domes.

1051 GWR, on Great Western Road, is giving customers the chance to eat and drink under the stars with this new experience.

The bar has partnered up with Dine at Dome where from now on you can book your unique dining experience.

With the 360 degree crystal clear Dine at Dome experience, 1051 GWR is bringing comfort to a slightly higher level for you and your close ones.

You can expect:

• A fully enclosed, private dining dome with cooling or heating available at all kinds of weather
• Dining under the stars opportunity, where each dome accommodates up to eight guests
• Subtle ambient nighttime light to maximise the magical experience
• A chance to play your own music to put your unique mark on the evening mood
• Table setup to suit the occasion (birthdays, anniversaries, festive dinners)

The distinctive domes also feature Dyson heaters-coolers-air purifiers, a Bluetooth speaker that can be paired with your device so you can play your favourite music and night-time mood lighting, ‘adding to the experience of dining under the stars’.

1051 GWR is well known for making best use of its outdoor space. Last year saw the launch of the west end bar’s unique sun terrace, just one of a handful of places you can drink outdoors in Glasgow before 10pm.
