Serving home made good quality home comforts and pub classics in a great atmosphere and comfortable restaurant. With the best beer garden in Dumfries, The Swan is ideal for families. We have a fully stocked bar including real ale and a fantastic selection of wines, spirits and soft drinks all at reasonable prices. There are lots of special offers as standard on our menu, for example a lunch bundle which is homemade soup and sandwich followed by a freshly ground tea, coffee and traybake. Kids eat main courses for £2.50 Monday to Friday lunch and until 6.30pm when dining with a full paying adult eating off the a la carte menu. The menu has a good selection of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. Sundays are roast lunch and dinner days and we open all day for that from 12pm to 8pm. Offering at least 2 choices but very often 3 roasts for you to choose from. Home cooked with roast potatoes, fresh vegetables, gravy and Yorkshire puddings. Every weekend we add to our menu with specials, such as mussels in Prosseco, red snapper with mango salsa, sole and smoked salmon in a wine cream, slow cooked Scottish beef and lots lots more seasonally fresh and home cooked food.
