Friendly local pub, The Holly Tree, sits proudly on the edge of Wanstead Flats in London's Forest Gate. Following an extensive refurbishment in 2019, a new open kitchen was installed serving delicious seasonal food daily, including superb Sunday roasts. The huge garden has been landscaped with plenty of outdoor seating, tropical plants, and a pop-up summer bar hosting tap takeovers every weekend. Not to mention the fully functioning miniature railway in the garden for everyone to enjoy. The large pub interior had been beautifully designed with a classic look and feel including the much desired cosy snug with real fire. Children are welcome in our family friendly area, and there is a “child free” section in one half of the spacious pub. The entire pub and garden is fully accessible, and dog friendly.
