The Bay Horse is a family-owned country Inn: located just minutes from Junction 33 of the M6. Craig Wilkinson- the chef owner, along with his experienced team, has a long standing reputation for serving delicious meals prepared using the finest local ingredients. The same menu is served throughout the cosy bar area, private dining room and the dining room which overlooks the rolling Lancashire countryside. In good weather, the generous beer garden is also used for drinks and dining. At lunchtime the a la carte menu is supplemented by sandwiches for those who want a simple snack and on Sundays, Craig's fabulous Sunday Menu is served at lunch and dinner instead of the la carte menu. Typical dishes include: Morecambe Bay Potted shrimps, confit duck legs with port sauce & mashed potato and warm orange and almond sponge with vanilla ice-cream.
