The Avenue Brasserie - A new chapter in South Belfast dining. The Avenue Brasserie is an exciting new restaurant in the heart of BT9, bringing together exceptional food, warm hospitality and a stylish, relaxed atmosphere designed for every occasion. At its heart is a remarkably experienced team. Executive Head Chef Michael O’Connor, formerly owner and Executive Head Chef of the much-loved Barking Dog, in partnership with General Manager Chris Lockhart and Deputy General Manager Gary McCrudden, they bring decades of Belfast hospitality experience to an entirely new restaurant. The philosophy is refreshingly simple: great ingredients, proper cooking and food people genuinely want to eat. Expect modern brasserie cooking, comforting classics and seasonal dishes, using outstanding local produce. Familiar favourites sit alongside new creations, complemented by a carefully curated wine list and cocktails made for settling in and staying a while. The setting is every bit as important. Newly created from the ground up, The Avenue combines warm woods, leather, low lighting and candlelight to create a sense of relaxed luxury—stylish without being formal and sophisticated without taking itself too seriously. Come for dinner with friends, date night, drinks and sharing plates, a celebration, or a long Sunday lunch with the family. Whatever brings you through the door, the aim is the same: exceptional food, brilliant service and a genuinely great experience. Welcome to The Avenue. Your table is ready.
