Our food ethos has been influenced over the years as more amazing producers and suppliers have sprung up locally selling, growing and rearing Welsh produce and livestock. The team at the Grill Room are passionate about serving local, seasonal fresh produce. Local farms? We source meat as locally as we can – check out their locations on our PGI map – from field to plate with full traceability. If you’re a steak lover then one of our secret weapons is the Dry Ager – one of the oldest techniques out there. Dry ageing produces a steak that’s incomparable to an ordinary cut of beef, with an aroma reminiscent of butter and nuts. To intensify the flavour even further we use Himalayan salt blocks in the agers, the salt absorbs moisture and helps to purify the air even further.
