Our head chef Ben Ogden and his team are passionate about using the freshest and best local seasonal produce to create a menu that conveys a real sense of place – our food is very representative of Exmoor, its climate; its seasons, its altitude, its farming, its animals and its coast. We are a family owned and run business and also farm an organic herd of Pedigree Galloway cattle along with Scottish Blackface sheep in Simonsbath. We can be confident of serving our own beef, lamb & venison in our restaurant that has been reared to high welfare, grass fed, sustainable organic principles.
