The Wattenden Arms was built over 150 years ago. We are a hidden gem close to the famous Kenley Aerodrome. Our “finest hour” was most definitely during the Battle of Britain in World War II, when we were commandeered by the RAF to serve as an auxiliary mess for Fighter Command at RAF Kenley. Today we serve the local and wider community, walkers, cyclists and four legged friends: offering lunch & dinner service and a refreshing range of lager, ale & wines. Our dining room is open Mon & Tue Noon-3pm, Wed & Thu Noon-3pm & 5-9pm, Fri & Sat Noon-9pm and Sunday Noon-7pm. For the passer by a takeaway coffee and freshly made sausage roll always awaits. We have a comfortable courtyard for relaxing and a large car park for the exclusive use of our customers.
