Welcome to The Woodies! We’re a small, family-run pub in Rothley, Leicestershire — proudly traditional, happily old-school, and big on proper hospitality. Most of the time we’re a drinks-only local: great pints, easy conversation and plenty of familiar faces. A nice pub for nice people — no fuss, no frills, just how it should be. On weekday lunchtimes (12pm–2:15pm), our sister Anne-Marie takes over the kitchen with a selection of homemade pub snacks, all freshly prepared and full of comfort. We’re not a full-scale restaurant (and our kitchen is on the cosy side!), so there is a limit to the number of diners we can cater for. If we’re busy, it’s likely there will be a wait on food — but we promise it’ll be worth it. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet pint or a bite to eat, we look forward to welcoming you.
