Tucked into the cliffs above its own sandy cove, the restaurant at Soar Mill Cove Hotel blends fine dining with relaxed, family-friendly charm. From elegant high teas to indulgent evening meals, our kitchen team celebrates the best of Devon’s seasonal and local produce in every dish. Our daytime menu is served from 12.30pm to 5.00pm, with traditional afternoon teas available daily from 2.30pm to 5.00pm. Dinner is served between 5.00pm and 8.30pm. We’re delighted to welcome non-residents, and most of our tables are dog friendly - simply select this option when booking to ensure we seat you accordingly. You can book online for groups of up to six people, up to 24 hours in advance. For bookings within 24 hours, or for groups of more than six, please call us on 01548 561566 so we can check availability. For larger bookings, a deposit of £10 per person is required. We only reserve inside tables and are unable to take bookings for drinks only. Our outdoor seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. We’re a completely non-smoking and cashless business. Celebrating a birthday? We’d love to help mark the occasion with a homemade cake — just give us a call with at least 7 days’ notice. Our smaller cakes (serves up to 8) are £50, and our larger ones (serves up to 12) are £70.
