The Red Lion Inn is a family run, traditional 12th century drover's inn perched high on a hill with beautiful views over the village of Penderyn and Brecon Beacons National Park. Flagstone floors, log fires, traditional real ales and ciders gravity fed straight from the casks are accompanied by fabulous food lovingly created by our chefs from locally sourced ingredients to form a menu which changes every 6 to 8 weeks to reflect the very best of the season’s finest produce. Children over the age of 6 are very welcome with those under the age of 6 very welcome until 6pm. PLEASE NOTE: Due to space limitations regrettably we are unable to cater for high chairs, prams, pushchairs, buggies or baby changing. Parents with very young children needing a high chair are welcome to bring along an adaptor seat for use on a normal chair or a carrycot. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can ensure a suitable table is allocated for you.
