The Old Point House, a sixteenth century pub on the wild west coast of Wales. We cook with the seasons, and use the very best local ingredients, from vegetables grown on the surrounding peninsula, to lamb from our farm six miles away, and local shellfish. Essential reading - Our dining room menu is set, and changes daily, but will follow the same format, snacks and starters, followed by a main dish with sides, all served as sharing plates for the table, at £58pp. We believe service and atmosphere are every bit as important as the food, have lovingly renovated the building prior to opening in Summer 2026 and have assembled a brilliant team to welcome you. Children Please include children in the numbers for your booking. All children (save for babes in arms) are assumed to be eating and are charged accordingly. For smaller children a half sized/half price portion of the set menu is available. We do not have space to safely accommodate high chairs nor prams. Opening times See our social media for current opening times. Bar Tables in our bar are on a walk in basis only. The restaurant menu is not available in the cabin nor the garden. Dogs We don't accept dogs inside the building but have indoor seating in the cabin adjacent to the bar, (Caban Du) where dogs are welcome. Please order at the bar. Card details Card details are taken at the time of booking. No deposit is taken, but a fee is charged in the event of a late cancellation or No Show. Cancellations Your booking confirmation email will include a cancellation button. We require at least 24 hours notice of any cancellation, in default of which a fee equal to the set menu price of £58pp is payable. Menu Please leave a booking note if you require a vegetarian or pescatarian meal. We cannot accommodate changes to our set menu to account for other dietary preferences. Our kitchen works with lots of nuts and shellfish. Accordingly we cannot accommodate guests with nut or shellfish allergies.
