Welcome to Maria’s, a restaurant with a loyal following for over 30 years which has matured from a beach shack to a comfortable, modern and fresh restaurant by the sea<br/>After undergoing ongoing refurbishments since taking over ownership in 2012,  we are told that Maria’s is “better than ever”, renowned for its unbeatable location, great food  and buzzy laid back atmosphere. The Portuguese and English Partners Miguel and William have many years of restaurant experience and operate the restaurant themselves along with a great team and the support of their wives Harriet and Angela behind the scenes.Our retractable roof and sliding glass doors create an all year round facility to dine inside or outside and still enjoy 180 degree ocean views. In 2018 the kitchen was extended to cope with the large restaurant space. We also now have a large rooftop bar with bar stools and sofa area. During the warmer months clients can enjoy drinks and food from our new “bites” menu enjoying the special views. It is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. We do not take bookings for the roof terrace.We open every day from lunchtime through to dinner time for drinks and food.  We have always been popular as a beach lunch venue and Maria’s now transforms into an idyllic “restaurant by the beach” by night.   We have made a restaurant that can be enjoyed throughout the year because we believe that whatever the weather there is nothing like dining by the sea.
