Having just undergone renovation in 2016 to increase its seating capacity to 120 and to introduce a new live-cooking station, Le Club at the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi is a sparkling destination. With a design that calls to mind aristocratic smoking rooms with a hint of 1920s speakeasy, there is history here underneath the brand new coat of paint. Where Le Club now stands used to be the former Metropole Hall, the venue that hosted the first gala meeting of the Nouvelle Entreprise Cinématographique. The first movie ever shown in Indo-China played right here on the 3rd of June, 1916.
