Board is a small, independent, family-run cheese, charcuterie and wine bar in the heart of Orrell, created by the family behind The Little Green Platter Company. We created Board to be a little different - an escape from the everyday where you can slow down, switch off, eat incredible food, drink great wine and, most importantly, have a really good time. There’s nothing stuffy or overly formal about Board. We love great produce and great wine, but we believe they should be enjoyed in a relaxed, welcoming and fun atmosphere. Our sharing boards bring together carefully selected artisan British and European cheeses, premium charcuterie and delicious accompaniments, alongside a hand-picked collection of wines, cocktails and drinks. We love introducing people to something they might not have tried before, while still keeping everything approachable. And when you book a table at Board, it’s yours for the evening. We don’t operate sittings and we don’t put time limits on our tables. Settle in, take your time, chat, laugh, explore the menu, try a different wine or stay for another drink. There’s no next booking waiting for your table and absolutely no rush to leave. With only 30 seats, Board is intentionally small and intimate - perfect for date nights, catching up with friends, celebrations or simply escaping for a few hours. Alongside our regular Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, we host special daytime experiences, themed evenings and tasting events throughout the year. Board is also available for private hire, giving you the whole space for celebrations, gatherings and bespoke events. Good food. Great wine. No clock watching. Curated with love, shared with joy.
