About The Rhos Fynach
A charming and much-loved traditional pub, The Rhos Fynach is a beautifully restored 12th Century monastery located on the seafront of Rhos-on Sea, North Wales. Only an hour from Chester and Liverpool and 1.5 hours from Manchester where you will always be greeted with a warm welcome.
The family and dog-friendly restaurant serves delicious no-nonsense pub food, with traditional roasts served on Sundays. The Beer Garden, Ice-Cream Pavilion and Crazy Golf are always open, and during the colder months you will be greeted by a roaring log fire. We serve a range of traditional guest ales, lagers, wine and coffee.
Our private event rooms are available for all events including weddings, birthdays, funeral teas and parties.
There is plenty of parking in both the onsite car park and the two nearby car parks.

Very good venue - first time I’ve been back in years! Hopefully not so long until next visit!
The wine was dreadful we ordered Chardonnay at I think £18 a bottle it tasted like water. The food was good but the service was not good very slow, the wine was warm I wouldn’t go again
We received a very warm welcome, great food, very polite and friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience, we will certainly use again, many thanks to the team
We are never disappointed with meals at the Rhos Fynnach. We enjoy a walk along the seafront after our meal.
Lovely meal as always
So welcoming, thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be back. Had my 3 year old with us and elderly grandparents and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service.
Aa a family, we found Rhos Fynach about 2yrs ago when we decided to have a dog. The pub is dog friendly and always welcoming. We love coming here. We even had my sons 18th there last may, all enjoyed it. However I only gave 4 stars for the Food and drink, only because whenever myself and partner go we always have tje steak.. Steak is beautifully cooked but last.niggts peppercorn sauce was bit of a let down it was quite watery and had rosemary herb in it altho it tasted ok, rosemary doesnt belong in peppercorn sauce, not for me anyway.. We won't stop visiting because we truly love it there, I hope that the peppercorn sauce is much more creamier and abit thicker next time we visit.
We all had a lovely meal including Dexter who loved his sausage and treats
Great lamb roast on Easter Sunday
Very welcoming, arrived for our meal with our dog, no problem whatsoever. All staff were were friendly and polite. Food was excellent and reasonably priced. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Would definitely visit again when we are in the area.
.
It’s alway a pleasure to dine at the Rhos Fynnoch. Lovely staff. Great food.
We've been a few times now because we've enjoyed our meals and the establishment so much. The staff are superb, and very helpful. The food is delicious with a varied menu. They are dog friendly which is great for us and the added bonus of a mini golf course is a winner for my 12 yr old boy. Well worth a visit.....
Food excellent, service equally as good, definitely go there again.
Enjoyed our lunch there. Friendly atmosphere.
Everything was excellent, food and ambiance second to none
Excellent well presented food and piping hot. Good value. Definitely recommend.
We always enjoy a meal here when we come from Sheffield to visit my cousin who lives in Rhos
Lovely warm welcome. Friendly atmosphere. Food excellent.
I have been to the restaurant on several occasions and have found the food and service excellent and it’s very dog friendly !
My family and I (5) had booked in for Mother’s Day we had a starter mine being Prawn cocktail and I have to say it was the worst I’ve ever tasted . It was so watery did nt seem to have any of the sauce usually you have with this starter the rest of the starters were good Pate snd soup . The main meal was good freshly prepared was the general impression. Won’t stop me from returning though. Joan
We dine at the RhosFynnach on most Sundays now. Need I say more? Service, food and value for money are all excellent.
Excellent quality and service as always
What a delightful place. The building is the oldest in the area, we had a warm welcome and had a lovely mother's day lunch. The roast dinner was delicious and my mother in law appreciated the smaller portions available. We would definitely visit again there is ample parking available nearby in the pay and display car park and it was great to be able to bring the dog and have a walk on the beach afterwards.
Always enjoy coming here with my family and the food was so tasty on Mother's Day!
