The laidback restaurant and aperitivo bar Tavolino offers spectacular interrupted views of Tower Bridge from its airy two-floor spot, which also boasts a sprawling terrace. While the space is decked out chicly with emerald banquettes, marble-topped tables and vast windows, this spot actually also caters warmly to kids, with a two-course menu available for just £8.50. Meals include a tomato and fior di latte pizza, two kinds of pasta, and a seasonal soft serve for dessert. This female-owned and independent North London pub prides itself on its community atmosphere and claims to serve up some of the best Sunday Roasts in town, making it a welcome retreat for families — you can even bring the dog along if you like! In addition to its extensive menu, which includes special £10 offers on certain evenings (Tuesday is pie night, while Thursday is all about ribs!), it caters well to any littles ones too, with mini roast dinners, pasta dishes and chicken or fish goujons for just £8. Seasonal events often taken place here too, like quizzes and egg hunts, which means that the kids can be thoroughly entertained while the adults have a proper catch up.

Located on a leafy Pimlico street, Artist Residence is a quirky boutique hotel and all-day eatery replete with colourful creations for kids to marvel at. Despite its upmarket address, this place isn’t precious at all about allowing little ones in, and offers up a menu for them that would please many adults too. On the drinks menu, there’s freshly-made house lemonade and a triple berry smoothie for those all-important vitamins, while the food menu offers up warm focaccia with olive oil and butter, pesto pasta, and fish goujons. Everything here is high-quality as well as being delicious, so you can relax in the knowledge that they’re getting the very best!
