London's best alcohol-free spots

Looking for a night out in London without the alcohol (or hangover)? You’re in for a treat. London boasts a variety of fantastic alcohol-free venues that cater to those looking for a good time without the booze. Keep reading to discover our favourite spots!

Nestled in the vibrant neighbourhood of Forest Hill, Babur Restaurant is a hidden gem for those seeking exquisite Indian cuisine and alcohol-free tipples. Alongside a wealth of meticulously executed, contemporary takes on regional Indian cuisine (like their delicate, clove-smoked lamb chops, swordfish tikka with radish pickle and beetroot cutlet with spiced mango chutney) sits a creative menu of alcohol-free cocktails.

Those with a sweet tooth will adore their ‘Apple and Caramel Sling’ (made with cloudy apple juice, caramel, roasted almonds and fresh lime), but for something more zingy, the ‘Lemon and Mint Cooler’ (prepared with lemon, citrus, mint and coconut) really fits the bill. Babur also offers a range of homemade lemonades, craft lassis (the vanilla and black is cardamom unlike anything we’ve tried before!) and 0% beers.

At first glance, you’d be mistaken for assuming that The Lucky Saint is just like any other traditional London pub, with its rustic wooden interiors, chalk board menus and gaggle of punters enjoying pints outside the front. But what makes this watering hole stand out is the fact that it’s 100% alcohol-free!

The bar specialises in great-tasting 0% beer, a product that the owner, Luke, felt was missing in London. After travelling to and from Bavaria for several months and working with a specialist brewmaster, he fell in love with a 0% unfiltered beer that would go on to become one of London’s best. The bar is laid-back and friendly and there are other non-alcoholic drinks available too, if you’re in the mood for something else.

Chuku’s takes the vibrant flavours of Nigerian cuisine and transforms them into tapas-sized delights. The atmosphere here is a fusion of Lagos and London (i.e. vibrant and diverse), which is reflected in the menus.

While savouring their mouthwatering tapas (highlights including the caramel kuli kuli chicken wings and plantain beignets topped with cinnamon sugar) don’t miss their exciting, Nigerian-inspired range of non-alcoholic beverages. Our go-to is the ‘Chapman’ mocktail, made with sparkling orange, grenadine, aromatic bitters and cucumber!

Unity Diner is a haven for those with a passion for vegan dining. Located in the heart of London, this plant-based paradise specialises in elevated comfort food (hello vegan lobster mac ‘n’ cheese!) and offers an array of funky alcohol-free options to boot.

The non-alcoholic beverages are as satisfying as their plant-based creations: from mango and elderflower homemade lemonade to a ‘Piers Morgan’s tears’ mocktail (made with 0% gin, orange, pea flower and peach) as well as a selection of hot drinks (oat-milk hot chocolates; turmeric and honeycomb lattes), there’s something to suit all tastes. The atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, making it a great spot to catch up with friends and family.

Morito Hackney
cuisinesSpanish

Morito Hackney is where the vibrant spirit of Spain meets the eclectic atmosphere of Hackney. Besides their mouthwatering tapas, they serve up creative and refreshing alcohol-free cocktails that are a testament to the art of mixology.

For something super refreshing, we highly recommend their ‘Granada Ice’, prepared with fresh pomegranate, lemon, mint and a dash of sugar, or the ‘Ginger Ice’, made with ginger, lime and mint. The more adventurous among us will enjoy their fiery chilli and apple mocktail, while those who are after something a bit more paired back can enjoy their homemade lemonade or 0% beer.
