Going out for drinks in London can cost an arm and a leg, particularly if you don’t know where to go for the best deals. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of some of the top places in London to get a round in – without breaking the bank! Whether you’re looking for deals on cocktails, beer, wine or even food, here are six of our favourite happy hour spots in London.

You’ll be hard pressed to find a better happy hour in London than at the retro dream that is Simmons Bar. The happy hour runs from 4pm-9pm everyday, which is perfect for after-work drinks, with incredible deals on beer, spirits, wine bottles and glasses, cocktails, and bottles of Prosecco. The shareable Cocktail Teapots only cost £15 during happy hour if you and your pals fancy drinking out of teacups! The Camden venue is an 80s paradise (much like all the venues across London), featuring neon lights, a glittery skull-shaped disco ball, retro games and DJs on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
Where else in Chelsea will you find glasses of wine or frozen margaritas for £4? The Big Easy happy hour is truly not one to be missed, with unbeatable deals on beers, cocktails and even bottles of house bubbly for £10. Banish the Monday blues with the all-day happy hour on Mondays, or head on down from Tuesday-Friday when happy hour takes place from 4pm-7pm. You’ll have to sample some of the delicious American-inspired dishes while you’re there too, with mouthwatering options such as home-smoked BBQ ribs, fresh lobster rolls, truffle mac ’n’ cheese and so much more. There are great food deals on different days too, so be sure to check out the daily specials ahead of going.
This Cuban restaurant will be sure to put a smile on your face with its colourful decor, vibrant atmosphere, and very economical happy hour deals! Cubana’s happy hour runs from 4pm-7pm daily, featuring 2-for-1 cocktails from just £7.75 and two cocktail jugs from only £21! And if you’re feeling peckish after your mojito, Cubana also does fantastic street-style food such as slow roasted pork, shredded beef and black bean stew, as well as serving up a great tapas selection, barbacoa, and the famous Cuban sandwiches.

If you’re looking for a more luxurious take on happy hour, why not opt for The Oystermen’s ‘Oyster & Bubbles’ happy hour special instead? Running weekdays from 3-5pm, you’ll get six freshly shucked oysters and a glass of French fizz for only £10! This multi award-winning venue in Covent Garden serves up the finest and freshest seafood from across the British Isles, including a whole Devon brown crab and an incredible seafood platter fit for a king. There’s also an artfully curated wine list if you fancy carrying on the eating and drinking festivities beyond 5pm.
Megan’s is a chain of unbelievably cute restaurants across London, boasting stylish interiors, Instagrammable food and delicious cocktails. The Megan’s on the Hill venue in Balham features an airy conservatory, gorgeous blue velvet chairs and magical fairy lights throughout. Happy hour runs from Monday – Friday and lasts from 4-7pm so it’s the perfect place to spend a lazy afternoon with friends catching up over drinks. Large glasses of wine, glasses of Prosecco and Bellinis cost only £5, or if you’re more of a Spritz fan, you can opt for an Aperol Spritz or a Lillet Rosé Spritz for a very reasonable £5, too.
Head on over to Ping Pong Dim Sum for great deals on sophisticated Chinese food and incredible hand-crafted cocktails. Not only do you get happy hour rates on food from 3-6pm across all the London locations, but you also get it on selected dim sum dishes too as part of the ‘Don’t Give a Shiitake’ deal! You can enjoy half-price drinks, with the choice of cocktails, mocktails, wine bottles and beer. You’ll also get half price on selected dim sum items including dumplings, classic crispy bites, and sweet treats. We recommend the signature Ping Pong cocktail for £4.28 and the spicy chicken dumplings, which will only set you back £2.48 – bargain!
