Hailed as Britain’s best bacon butty provider, Le Swine devotes its business to the ‘culinary perfection’ of crafting a sandwich made with the highest quality bacon. Apart from the obvious menu highlight, you can enjoy toasts and alcoholic drinks straight out of a street van with lovely staff. You might have to check their website to know how to track them down, but the effort is very much worth it.
The Breakfast Club knows how to do breakfasts and bacon dishes are no exception. There’s plenty to choose from; The All American bacon pancake stack with sausages, eggs, potatoes and maple syrup (pictured), French toast with crispy bacon and our personal favourite – smoked bacon and parmesan mash, are all perfect to sate your appetite. If you want to enjoy breakfast in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, The Breakfast Club is your best bet. It’s the most important meal of the day after all.
Coal Rooms invite you in with their minimalist interior and make you stay with their mouth-watering menu. Head there for brunch and have a taste of The Peckham Bap – smoked bacon, brioche roll, bbq sauce and fried eggs. Or, if you can’t decide on what you really want, you can pretty much add bacon to everything as a side. Treat yourself to a wholesome meal.
Terry’s Café is a place with a rich history – its heart and soul is reflected in the retro interior and photos that document local life. Aiming to promote British cuisine, the café goes above and beyond by combining perfect flavours and generously sized portions with warm service. The all-day menu includes a traditional breakfast, steak served with bacon, eggs and fried onions or award-winning sandwiches with a mix of vegetables and bacon. Head there anytime the cravings appear.
Parlour serves modern British dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. The interior is a contemporary space filled with plants, which makes it perfect for all types of occasions. Even if you just want to head there on your own to indulge in delicious bacon, you won’t feel out of place. Parlour specialises in breakfasts; The Banjo comes with a fried egg and bacon bap with Oxford sauce. Yum.
