Where to go on a stag do in Manchester

A stag do is a great excuse to bring all the boys together and have fun all day and night. As the best man, it’s your responsibility to make sure that everyone enjoys themselves and this requires you to plan a variety of exciting activities – no pressure! If you need a helping hand, we’ve got you. Have a look at our top five stag do destinations in Manchester for some inspiration.

A stag do celebration is going to be a long one so why not grab a bite to give yourself enough fuel for the rest of the night? We recommend you start the special day at Nell’s Pizza where you can get one of the most delicious pizzas you’ve tasted in your life, and probably the biggest one too as it comes in an impressive 22-inch size. The options vary from classics such as margherita to more unique ones such as burrata and other house specials (you can even get two different halves).

Celebrate your stag do with BOOM Battle Bar – the venue that promises you an unforgettable night filled with beer, banter and battles. There’s no better way to celebrate your buddy’s new chapter in life than playing games and drinking with a group of close friends. You can challenge yourselves to activities such as axe throwing or darts, and finish it off with beer pong. The experience lasts about three hours and is a great way to kick-start the fun early in the evening. With adrenaline pumping in your veins and just enough alcohol in your system you’ll be excited and ready for more. Make sure to book in advance.

Dog Bowl is another fun destination to add to your list if you’re planning a stag do. The venue is a bowling place with a £16.50 per person deal for lane rental, beer and burgers that is very popular among stag groups. Bowling is a great choice as it can easily break the ice if not all of the group knows each other. If you need more of a rush than bowling, you can always move onto the retro arcades and consoles, and let your real competitive side come out.

This venue is very popular with stag dos as it features long benches that are ideal for large groups and serves the best German beer in the city. Bierkeller is sort of a beer fest where you can relax and often bump into hen parties and challenge them to a drinking game – the more, the merrier right? Don’t forget to book a table and dress the part.

O’Neill’s is the perfect last stop for a boys’ night out. This Irish pub offers a unique experience with a relaxed interior, big screen and live music; you can burn some of the alcohol off by dancing to lively tunes or enjoy a pint and chat in one of the private booths. The venue is stag-friendly so you won’t have problems getting in even if your group is large, but remember to book in advance.
