The aesthetic is a modern open-planned style, not minimalist and full of character. When we visited this place, we were shocked by not only how delicious the food was, but how gorgeous the plates are. The lamb shawarma, yoghurt and harissa dish is full of flavour and the pan fried cod, yellow curry, crispy potato and pickled chilli is a game-changer. The crispy potato balls are the ones which really stole our hearts though. If you want to share food amongst friends, drink many a cocktail and all within a place which provides banging tunes, then Volta might be the place to have your birthday celebration.
