Nothing says 'hello warmer weather' more than long fresh lunches and glasses of bubbles.
This spring, Herne Bay’s resident all-day Italian eatery Andiamo is here to kickstart the sunny seasons in the best way possible – with a spring Champagne soiree of course.
From now until the end of October, join the friendly team at Andiamo for a taste of rejuvenation and radiance with Perrier-Jouët. On the agenda, choose between dishes from the Spring Soiree menu filled with seasonal options showcasing some of the best October produce, all served with a flute of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut on arrival.
To start, take your selection from the market fish crudo with blood orange, pickled chilli and sorrel, or the bruschetta with whipped ricotta, grilled zucchini and basil.
Following that, opt for the market fish with fregola, fennel, citrus, caperberries, and dill for a lighter choice, or the risotto, with soft herbs, pistachio pesto, and ricotta salata for a slightly richer main course.
Bright green in colour, Chef Gareth Stewart claims “Anything I’ve found that is green has gone into this risotto,” allowing the annual return of fresh vegetables to shine throughout each bite.
For $65pp, you’ll leave with a comfortably full stomach, after dining in Andiamo’s spring fit-out, featuring dangling bouquets and floral Champagne flutes in the bright, serene space.
If you’re feeling extra fancy, as we all are from time to time, browse through the Perrier-Jouët Champagne menu, featuring four pours for a very special spring price.
The classic Grand Brut is on special for $99/bottle this Spring, with Blason Rosé, Blanc de Blancs, and Belle Époque Blanc 2013 also available by the glass or bottle. Ask any of the Andiamo team for help with pairing with your dish selections and you’ll be in for one of the best lunches of the year.
