Festival season has kicked off in Aotearoa and we could not be more excited for both the unreal acts and food vendors hitting our shores very shortly.

St. Jerome’s Laneway is returning to Tāmaki Makaurau this January, with a legendary musical lineup, and now an equally awesome food vendor lineup.

Western Springs Stadium will turn into an alternative music melodic jungle on Monday 30th January, with international and homegrown talent such as Fred again.., HAIM, Joji, Phoebe Bridgers, FINNEAS, girl in red, slowthai, Fazerdaze, There’s A Tuesday, and The Jungle Giants taking the stage.

The full-day festival wouldn’t be complete without some exciting food vendors to keep you going well into the night – and fresh from Laneway HQ, we have Auckland’s 2023 food vendor lineup to get you even more excited for the big day.

Tip Top Trumpets have been announced as Laneway’s official ice cream partner – a big responsibility keeping you cool in the scorching January sun – while Pals, Jameson, Malibu, and the Inspired Unemployed boy’s Better Beer will all be abundant at the bars scattered around the festival.

On to the food! Come hungry and dig into the likes of Baby G Burger’s epic smashed burgers, Taco Loco’s traditional homemade tacos, Daily Bread’s freshly baked goods, Double Dutch’s famous fries, Fatima’s Middle Eastern treats, Langos’ fresh fried Hungary bread puffs, and Lord of the Fries’ delicious vegan junk food.

We’re not done yet! Ockhee and sister-restaurant Swings will be there with contemporary Korean dishes on the go, as well as Miso Ra’s Japanese food, the cult-favourite Peach’s Nashville hot fried chicken, Ramen Takara’s steaming hot ramen (so good we’d even devour it in the humidity), The Rolling Pin’s traditional and vegan dumplings, and Wise Boy’s plant-based burgers and sides.

Laneway will have any and all dietary requirements covered one way or another. As well as an Atomic Coffee stand to keep you up and caffeinated on the day.

Although boasting a thoroughly impressive vendor lineup already, Laneway hints that there’s more to come, believe it or not. So, get in now and grab your Laneway ticket before you find yourself searching for a FOMO-fuelled second-hand tix on the day!

If you just can’t wait, book in at one of our stand-outs from the lineup, Ockhee in Ponsonby, and get into the festival mood early with some unbeatable contemporary Korean dishes and drinks!
