Make sure you check the restaurant’s website before you go – these deals are correct at the time of writing, but they’re way too good to last forever…

MONDAY is for margaritas…

Start the week off with a bang at Mejico Melbourne. The team here are doing $10 margaritas all day. You do have to purchase a main meal to take advantage of the deal, but with the likes of braised lamb shoulder with bull horn pepper mole and chimichurri on offer, it won’t be hard.

TUESDAY is for a burger and beer…

If a burger and a pint on a Tuesday night sound like a cracking way to get through the second day of the work week, then get yourself to The Wharf Hotel at Riverside on the banks of the Yarra. There you’ll find a burger and beer combo will cost you just $20. You can swap out the beer for a glass of wine if that’s more your speed.

WEDNESDAY is for ramen…

That Melbourne cold is still biting, but every Wednesday (and Thursday, Friday and Saturday) night you can snap up a bowl of hot, steaming, flavourful ramen for just 12 bucks at Brunswick’s Project 281. You can choose between the pork belly ramen or there’s a king oyster mushroom version with miso pumpkin that also happens to be vegan. Get the deal from 6pm on both nights and snap up some of the drink specials too while you’re there.

THURSDAY is for paella…

Half price paella is on offer at Mr Joe in Richmond every Thursday. It’s just $10 for a serve of chicken and chorizo paella, or the more vego inclined can go for the vegetable and chickpea version. For an extra few dollars, snap up a seafood paella ($11.50). Make a night of it and add 90 minutes of free flowing cocktails for just $39.

FRIDAY is for beer and bao…

Richmond’s National Hotel understands that watching the footy is always better with beer and bao. That’s why every Friday between 5pm and 7pm, beer is $8, house wines are $7, Aperol spritz comes in at $12 and there are $4 steamed bao buns, with different vegetable and meat ones available each week. Now that’s what we call kicking goals!

It’s $59 a person but you get two hours of bottomless pizza, with vegan and vegetarian options on the table, as well as a selection of cocktail jugs including mango mojito, fruit tingle, sangria, pornstar and Pimm’s.
