Sanctum Soho’s famous Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea is back

Embodying the creative spirit of the hotel, Wild Heart Bar & Shokudo offers a casual Japanese inspired dining experience for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea by three-time Michelin star chef, Garry Hollihead.

Guests can enjoy a relaxed dinner in one of the intimate private booths, a quick lunch meeting, or a light bite and cocktail in the bar. With a focus on locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce, the innovated Japanese-street food dishes are best enjoyed as sharing plates complemented by an Oriental cocktail list, sake menu, and diverse wine list.

Excitingly, Sanctum Soho has launched not one, but two new afternoon tea experiences, both of which are served on the exclusive Roof Terrace.

The Japanese-inspired afternoon tea now includes a flight of delicious mini cocktails – high octane Jack Daniel’s Espresso Martini, a zesty Classic Margarita, and a sweet Chambord Shot with matching decadent macaroons.

And making a comeback is the famous Gentleman’s Afternoon Tea! There’s now a Japanese twist on the classic afternoon tea with aged wagyu beef sliders and slow-cooked pork Hirata buns, alongside signature whiskey and a Davidoff cigar pairing to finish.

Saturdays just got a lot more fun!

Express Lunch Menu 

Sanctum Soho has launched an exciting new daily Express Lunch Menu, which will allow diners to order two main dishes with a soft drink for just £15.50.

There are four options to choose from: Option One features Dynamite Broth and Japanese Sliders, while Option Two boasts Chicken Gyoza and Salmon Tartare. Option Three, meanwhile, is vegetarian and includes Tempura Tofu and Avocado, and Roasted Aubergine with Miso Glaze. The final option includes Vegetable Gyoza and Chilli Squid.

So, whether you’re popping out of the office for a lunch meeting, making the most of your break, or resting your weary shopping feet, pop-in and refuel at Wild Heart Bar & Shokudo. The new menu’s available Wednesday – Friday from 12:30-2:30pm.

A range of classic and Japanese teas is on offer, including Hojicha, matcha, chamomile, and vanilla, all of which are available from the curated tea collection.

The all new cocktail menu is available now too, which is best enjoyed in London’s best kept secret, Sanctum Soho’s Rooftop Terrace and Bar – an exclusive space for residents and members to let the good times roll. Located on the fifth floor of the hotel, guests are transported to an enclosed sanctuary far from the crowds of bustling Soho below.
