With Mother’s Day coming in hot, have you figured out where you should take mum yet?
If not, we’re here to help, with a range of dining options from a four-course lunch to a celebratory Champagne cocktail, this list of Brisbane restaurants with Mother’s Day events is all you need to get sorted.
If you really want to spoil mum this Mother’s Day head to Philip Johnson’s E’cco Bistro for a lunch to remember.
Johnson, together with chef Antoine Potier, has created an elegant four-course menu just for Mother’s Day which includes what might just be Brisbane’s best gnocchi, served here with truffle sauce and parmesan crisp, and Wagyu eye fillet with heirloom carrots, miso vinegar, sesame and beef jus.
If you’ve been to E’cco you’ll know it’s often the desserts that imprint themselves on your memory, so the yuzu and passion fruit parfait will be a fitting end to what is sure to be a great meal.

Whether it’s a four-course lunch at Signature restaurant, a special Champagne cocktail at the Terrace or High tea at Belle Époque, the Emporium Hotel has Mother’s Day well and truly covered.
Highlights of the lunch set menu include the Emporium honey bavarois with hazelnut cremeux and nougat sponge but we will also find it hard to pass up the Truffle chicken sandwich as part of the Mother’s Day high tea.
At the Terrace, the cocktail designed to honour all mums is a fragrant delight. It’s fittingly called the Mumm Parfume and is made up of Mumm Grand Cordon Champagne, cascara, jasmine, patchouli, cedarwood, vanilla and orange blossom. It will be available in the week leading up to Mother’s Day and on the day itself, so you can start the festivities early!

White chocolate scones with raspberry jam and cream? Pork and Manchego crostini with mojo picon? Add a complimentary glass of Prosecco and you’ll have mum saying yes please to a special high tea at Goldfinch inside the Pullman Brisbane King George Square.
With cascading greenery and sunshine streaming in, mum will feel the love as she enjoys afternoon tea in one of Brisbane’s prettiest restaurants.
All we can say is don’t delay, as places will book fast.

Relax with a glass of Prosecco as you stare out over the Brisbane River at elegant waterfront restaurant Alchemy.
Acclaimed chef Brad Jolly, who has cooked alongside such culinary luminaries as Marco Pierre White and Jamie Oliver, has designed a Mother’s Day set menu where you can choose from a variety of dishes including Ceviche of Kingfish to start, Grilled marinated quail for main and Dark chocolate marquise with mixed berries and cream for dessert.
Whether you go with the two-course or three-course option, that glass of Prosecco will be waiting for mum on arrival, and there’s also a dedicated kid’s menu.
Dish Cult’s top pick: Three-course Mother’s Day lunch ($105 per adult; $40 per child)
Take mum to France with the Mother’s Day lunch at brasserie Aquitaine.
The three-course set menu includes a number of choices for entrée, main and dessert. We would start with that classic French dish of escargot, move onto the Jacks Creek striploin with broccolini, pomme purée, truffle butter and jus, and finish with an anything-but-traditional Crème brulee, made with tonka bean, compressed feijoa and burnt sable.
There’s a kids menu too, with choices of steak, crumbed market fish or gnocchi, as well as gluten-free and dairy-free options available.
