One of the many reasons we love Auckland is the ability to indulge in the vast supply of delicious food from across the world.

Mighty Hotdog is mighty delicious, do not take our word for it, head over to Royal Oak and have your tastebuds delighted. With Korean-inspired deep-fried snacks, you are sure to find a flavour that suits your needs.

Korean hotdogs are beloved street food; the mouth-watering balance of sweet and savoury flavours has gained a dedicated following. Its appearance is that of a corndog; however, it is anything but. Typically, Korean hotdogs are coated in batter, deep-fried to perfection, and finished with a generous layer of sugar.

Mighty Hotdog has multiple locations across Auckland; the eatery gained notoriety for its deep-fried hotdogs. Prepare to have your mind blown; the flavours are distinct and unforgettable. The hotdogs are beautiful, with a golden crust and doused in sauce.

If you love weird and wonderful food, visit immediately; you will not regret it.

The restaurant is colourful and quirky with bright yellow walls, white assents and black tables. Mighty Hotdog serves up happy vibes, a welcoming ambience and hotdogs that revival all others. Plan a weekend visit with your foodie friends, grab yourself a treat on the way home from work, or blow your family’s minds. The menu has something for everyone; dessert dogs for the sweet tooth in the group, a mozzarella dog wrapped in potato, and the ultimate nacho dog that always leaves people raving.

The menu is split into three main sections; sausage, cheese and dessert. Experience the beautiful flavours, textures and combinations. In the sausage section, you can try options like the cheese rocket with half mozzarella and half sausage. Or, the mighty kumara, with sausage coated in kumara. If you’re new to the trend, stick with a timeless classic, the original chicken sausage. Mighty Hotdog makes their delicacies with 100% New Zealand produce.

The cheese selection is some of the best comfort food we have ever been fortunate enough to taste. Imagine deep-fried mozzarella, coated in potato, with a crisp crust. Or, dive headfirst into one of our all-time-favourite flavours, the nacho; mozzarella coated in nachos and deep-fried to perfection; it is crisp, chewy and heavenly.

If you would prefer to kick things up a notch and try something different, opt for the mozzarella sticks coated in cereal, a strange combination that works like magic.

For dessert, get your hands on; the Moro chocolate, or the Choco peanut made with Snickers, and the Korean rice cake hotdog. Korean rice cakes are made from steamed rice flour that is worked over before being cut into two 4-inch cylinders; the taste is a neutral flavour with a chewy texture; irresistible with a sugar coating.

Every hotdog is lathered in your choice of sauce; pick up to three options, ketchup, mustard, mayo, cheese, BBQ, sweet chilli, hot chilli or chocolate. As Mighty Hotdog say themselves, hotdogs without a sauce are like a hug without a squeeze. Challenge yourself with the special sauce and see if you can handle the heat.

Mighty Hotdog also has combos and specials available to make the most of your money and the experience. Get a combo with a hotdog, chips and a juice, or, go for the Mighty five; this allows you to choose five of your favourite flavours.
