For many, game days are big days. However, sometimes you’re unable to cheer on your team from the stadium or want a more relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your viewing of your selected sport. But don’t worry, whatever your reason is, this guide has you covered! Check out some of the best sports bars in London.

The Cricketers provides access to Sky Sports and BT Sport, and you can check out their website’s “What’s on” page for more details. Situated close to Kew Gardens and the River Thames, they also have a lovely beer garden overlooking the cricket green. Although impressive, the venue is arguably outdone by the kitchen. The head chef Gary O’Sullivan has worked in restaurants all over the globe, and the menu provides high-quality British classics from sandwiches and battered fish to sausage and mash.

This unconventional drinking den is aptly located in the boundary-pushing advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi on Chancery Lane. As you can imagine, it’s on the trendier, design-led side of pub culture than your usual boozer, and features scarlet banquettes, glossy black tiles and retro advertisements on the walls. Punters can pair craft beers and cocktails with colourful superfood salads and crispy pizzas. You might be surprised to learn that this spot isn’t too cool to get involved with sporting events though, and features large screens, making it an under-the-radar place to catch the biggest games.
