East London Liquor Company
cuisinesCocktails, Distillery

Over in Bow, East London Liquor Company distil, import and (most importantly) serve their own award-winning gins. They pride themselves on providing great quality spirits at affordable prices. This trendy bar is located within a former glue factory, and you’ll be warmly welcomed to the smell of gin and a buzzing atmosphere at night. On the cocktail menu, expect to find some unique creations combining their own spirits and intriguing botanical ingredients such as lavender, fennel seeds and bayleaf. They also distil their own whisky, vodka, and rum (which we highly recommend too), and if you’re peckish, they serve some seriously tempting bites in their restaurant. Be sure to book one of their distillery tours if you fancy exploring the fascinating process behind the creation of their spirits!

This high-end Mayfair spot oozes glitz and glamour, with a luxurious bar serving an extensive selection of gins, which will impress any gin connoisseur. Whether you’re looking for the perfect G&T, or prefer your gin shaken or stirred in an artisanal concoction, Arc Le Salon will not disappoint. For those seeking a sophisticated gin-based drink, we recommend Arc Le Salon’s gorgeously presented signature cocktails – be sure to try the ‘English Field’, the ‘Avocado Chairman’ and the ‘Masamune’. Bookings are required after 9pm, so ensure you book ahead of time. And don’t forget to wear your glad rags!

This quirky gin bar is a fan favourite with gin-loving Londoners and tourists alike. Named after eccentric British adventurer, Phileas J. Fogg, Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour boasts a huge range of the best national and international gins, which you can learn about and sample in their ‘Gin Safari’. Not only are the cocktails spectacular, but the Victorian décor is equally fantastic if you love the idea of being transported back in time for a truly authentic gin-drinking experience. Situated in Covent Garden, this little diamond of a bar is great for pre-theatre drinks, or gin-infused soirées with friends.

The Distillery

If you’re looking for a place which has the ‘wow’ factor, look no further than this gem in Notting Hill. You’ll be hard pushed to find a place more dedicated to gin, as The Distillery is also London’s first ‘gin hotel’. Situated over four floors, this establishment also operates as a distillery, which is home to ‘Portobello Road Gin’. In addition to having several bars for you to sample hundreds of gins from around the globe, The Distillery also offers a fun gin-blending experience at The Ginstitute. It goes without saying that this place really is a must for gin fanatics who are looking for great vibes and equally great drinks!

For more casual gin-drinking and tasty bites, make your way over to Artist Residence London. This cosy neighbourhood bistro in Pimlico serves up a mean Negroni as well as a wide range of brunch favourites, served daily from 12-3pm. Gin fans will love their quintessentially English cocktail, ‘The Secret Garden’, which combines a refreshing blend of gin, elderflower, apple, cucumber, ginger ale, and lemon. Or transport yourself to Verona with their romantic ‘Romeo and Juliet’ cocktail – a delicate concoction comprised of gin, rose syrup, tonic water, angostura bitters and lemon. Chin chin!
