The sun’s out (for now), The World Cup is gripping the nation, Love Island is on, and there are plenty of hot restaurants to enjoy this summer. Here are our top picks of the hottest restaurants in London right now.
Lina Stores

Hottest restaurants london

The decor is enough to make you swoon, and you’ll be glad to know the food here is equally as good. Starting life as an Italian deli, Lina stores has been around for over 75 years and has solidified legendary status amongst Londoners and beyond. You can see why we were elated to hear they were opening a pasta restaurant a few streets over. Specialising in fresh pasta, (which is the “in thing” right now), handmade at 18 Brewer Street every day, we’re certain it won’t be long till this place is a staple on the London restaurant scene.

BRAT
cuisinesBritish, Fish, Michelin Star
Hottest restaurants london

“Some of the dishes Tomos Parry, cooks at Brat are simplicity itself, and some are simply perfect” Not our verdict but that of The Guardian’s Jay Rayner, and we agree with every word. Former Kitty Fisher’s head chef, Tomos Parry has everyone excited with his latest Shoreditch venture, BRAT. His first eatery features delicious small plates with meat and huge pieces of fish cooked on a wood fired grill. It’s so good that they just won a Michelin Star! Definitely one for your list if you’re a seafood lover.

The Duke of Richmond
cuisinesFrench
hottest restaurants in London

People have been eagerly waiting for the opening of Tom Oldroyd’s second restaurant and here it is, The Duke of Richmond. So far we’re hearing great things about this pub. Here, you can enjoy classic pub grub with a certain French finesse. Try the Cornish crab soufflé with crab bisque and gruyère toast, or Swaledale lamb en croûte with green beans and truffle butter. We can’t forget to mention the slow roasted duck on the Sunday lunch menu, which is receiving rave reviews.

They are back! The dynamic duo behind popular Turkish restaurant, Oklava, have another sure-fire hit on their hands with Kyseri. Similarly to Oklava, Selin Kiazim and Laura Christie take inspiration from Turkey, however this time the focus is on the Kayseri region. Expect Turkish pastas, which they’ll make Padella-style in the window each day, coupled with wines from the Middle East. We’re especially excited about the manti dumplings, which are a must if you pay this place a visit.
